Killer Tips For Living An Acne-Free Life

by Marcel Stephenson

Living acnefree may seem like a dream, but using some of these tips you will be able to be acne free, perhaps forever.

Oil and bacteria are the main causes of acne, and it is important to know before trying to take on the acne problem.

You will start to notice that you have a more oily sweat as there are hormonal imbalances created during teenage years.

This sweat is loaded with bacteria that your body is trying to eliminate and when this oily substance mixes with dead skin cells, they clog some of the pores and causing these pores to become infected which will result into pimples. These pimples are filled with clogged bacteria and most people can not resist the urge to start popping them.

This is exactly what our first tip is about..

Tip 1: Don’t pop your pimples or scrub them harshly

If you pop the pimples as soon as you see them, it is best to stop doing it. Popping pimples spreads the acne, making it worse, you will not get rid of acne that way.

They will pop by themselves if you are patient.

If you don’t want to irritate your skin even further then you should not be scrubbing your face raw everyday. Rather, find a good defoliant that is recommended for removing dead skin cells.

Tip #2: Avoid Oily Foods

You should try and avoid certain foods that are full of oils that find their way to your skin. If you consume too many of these foods, the oil in your body increases and you may find yourself depositing oil in the skin of your face, making it a perfect breeding ground for acne causing bacteria.

3rd Tip: Control the Bacteria

Naturally you should keep your face as clean as possible. Use tea trea oil, which has a strong antibiotic effect to reduce the spread of bacteria, and an antibacterial scrub at night.

Tip #4: Don’t Fall Victim To Advertising Hype

Studies have suggested that most acne products are a waste of time and money.

Finally, if you avoid oily foods and keep your face clean you are very likely to live an acne-free life, all the best to you!
