Until recently, parents were advising their teens on what acne-fighting products to use and what foods to avoid to prevent breakouts. Now, some teens and parents are swapping advice back and forth. The acne epidemic has grown all the more serious in recent years. While adulthood used to hold the promise of clear skin, the landscape has drastically changed. Some teens are lucky if they get a few years of clear skin during college, only to enter the workforce with pimple-ridden skin. As an adult, it can be difficult to choose an acne product, especially since most seem to be geared towards a younger demographic. However, treating adult acne is nowhere near as complicated as some perceive it to be.
